RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will actively lead the Data Operations Team, in installing and maintaining on-premises and cloud applications, servers, storage, network equipment, and our Product Administration. The position reports to the Technology Department Head and will be expected to plan, install, configure, and manage all aspects of IT infrastructure and Product Administration to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective delivery of services.

Develop and execute strategies for efficient data operations, overseeing On-Premises, Cloud, and Product Administration teams.
Lead and manage the On-Premises Administrator team, ensuring the optimal performance of on-premises infrastructure solutions.
Lead and mentor the Cloud Administrator team, overseeing the management and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure.
Manage the Product Administrator team, focusing on data product management and administration.
Design, configure, deploy, and maintain applications, servers, storage, and network solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Proactively work to improve reliability, stability, and security of the cloud and on-premises environments.
Work with developers to deploy and maintain applications, including hardening and vulnerability remediation.
Research and evaluate new hardware and software solutions.
Build positive relationships with clients and explore additional project opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring high-quality data delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency of data operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor / Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of proven experience in IT systems administration or systems engineering roles.
Certifications in Cisco, VMware, AWS, GCP, or others are a plus.
Have experience with:
- Hypervisors like VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Citrix Hypervisor.
- HCI such as Nutanix, Dell/EMC VxRail, or VMware vSAN.
- VDI solutions such as VMware Horizon or Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- Switching and routing vendors such as Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, or Dell.
- NGFWs such as Palo Alto or Fortinet.
Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS or GCP.
Have experience with the configuration of LDAP solutions like Microsoft Active Directory.
Configuration of SAML identity providers such as Okta, Duo, or RSA.
Knowledge of monitoring solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, DataDog, and Jaeger.
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Have strong organizational and leadership skills, with a proven history of continually growing and motivating teams.
Organizational mindset with high problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level.
