Responsibilities
- Handle configuration, installation, and maintenance of Confluent components with best practice implementation.
- Understand the concept of network security in Linux system like SSH, Public Key / Private Key, Ports, etc.
- Understand the concept of data encryption in Linux system, like at-rest encryption and in-motion encryption.
- Understand and have experiences with SCV (Source Control Version) tools like GitHub, GitLab, Bit Bucket and Cloud Source Repository.
- Collaborate with the team to address operational issues and ensure quick resolutions.
- Perform monitoring and reporting to identify potential problems and take preventive or corrective actions.
- Able to cope under strict time restraints.
- Demonstrate success in managing deliverables within an aggressive time frame.
- Could write and review detailed technical documentation.
- Willing to learn new technology and invest your time to learn about it.
- Willing to take the effort in Confluent areas such capacity planning, performance tuning, and end-user support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Confluent technologies such as Zookeeper, Apache Kafka, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, would be a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with programming concepts such as Python or shell scripting.
- Fresh Graduates are also welcome if you have the confidence that your qualifications meet with the requirements.
