Confluent Operational Support

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Confluent platform around the clock to promptly identify and address any operational issues.
  • Investigate and diagnose problems related to data streaming, platform performance, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and IT Operation, to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Provide timely and accurate incident response, ensuring minimal disruption to data streaming processes.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks to prevent potential issues and optimize platform performance.
  • Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in detail for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Participate in on-site rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage, including weekends and holidays.
  • Continuously update your knowledge of Confluent technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Have experiences in operational support roles, preferably involving Confluent technologies such as Zookeeper, Apache Kafka, etc.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems and command-line tools.
  • Familiarity with programming concepts such as Python or shell scripting.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Fresh Graduates are also welcome if you have the confidence that your qualifications meet with the requirements.
  • Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill.
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills.
  • Have attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management.
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude.
  • A strong team player who can maintain a strong relationship within the group.
